Itinerary
For this one day bolt-on experience, we drive to a destination just outside of Marrakech where your hot air balloon ride will take place.
We will arrive at the balloon flight takeoff zone before sunrise, and help the professionals set up for the flight. Of course, if you prefer you can simply warm up by the fire pit with a cup of freshly-brewed Moroccan mint tea.
Get some amazing behind-the-scenes shots before take-off time! Then, you will board the basket and begin to float off into the air. Gaze down over the lush green plains and mountain foothills as the sun rises in beautiful colours over the horizon.
You will see Morocco from a completely unique angle, peering down on rural villages and endless valleys from above. This is a peaceful and impressive way to end a fabulous trip.

Travel insurance
Travel insurance is compulsory and must cover all adventure activities, including hot air balloon flights.
Personal expenses
Please budget for personal spending such as snacks, drinks, souvenirs and optional extras during your stay.
Tips
Tips are not included and are at your discretion. While not obligatory, tipping your balloon pilot and ground crew is a customary way to thank them for a memorable experience.

Why should I include this add on?
You’ve seen Morocco from land; a balloon ride at sunrise will give you a different perspective of the mountains and valleys of this beautiful country.
Will it be cold in the hot air balloon?
It can get a little cold up in the balloon, so we suggest you wear long trousers, and a top with long sleeves. Comfortable footwear is a must as you will be standing up in the balloon for at least an hour. If you are blessed with height a hat will protect against the radiant heat from the burners.
