Where is the best place in Spain for an adventure holiday?

Before deciding when to go, you need to know where the best place is to fulfil your adventuring desires.

If you’re after those thrills in Spain’s beautiful natural landscape, it doesn’t get much better than Costa Blanca. Making up a 200km stretch of coastline in the Alicante province, Costa Blanca is home to stunning mountains and canyons, sandy beaches, picturesque villages and great weather.

And the good news is that Costa Blanca is exactly where our Bucket List Company trip goes to.

Join us for a 6-day excursion, where you’ll try your hand at rock climbing, canyoning, downhill bike riding and even a via ferrata (translates to iron path and is essentially a protected climbing route on a rock face!).

There’s also plenty of time to experience the Spanish culture and cuisine of the region, giving you some much needed R&R from all those activities.

The trip is suitable for people of all skill levels, so if you’re an experienced adventurer or you’ve never done anything like this before, our guides will make sure you get the most out of your trip.

When is the peak season in Costa Blanca?

Costa Blanca is pretty warm all year round (it is Spain, after all).

But assuming you want to be experiencing those thrills while getting nice and golden, summer is the best time to visit.

June in particular is seen as the ideal month because temperatures sit at a very pleasant 27 degrees Celsius or so, without the days becoming too hot like they do in the other summer months.

There’s almost no rain in June as well, meaning there’s very little chance of activities like rock climbing getting postponed.

The humidity is generally around 68%, which can be a bit uncomfortable for some people, especially as you’ll be outside most of the time. But as long as you dress properly, wear sun cream and find shade wherever possible, you’ll be fine (think how refreshing that water will be when you’re canyoning!).

Luckily for you, June is the time when our Bucket List Spanish Adventure takes place. Click here to see what dates we’ve currently got available.

Can you have an adventure holiday in Spain out of season?

Technically you can… but we wouldn’t recommend it.

Those summer months offer you the most consistent, warm temperatures and the lowest rainfall. That means you’re activities are far less likely to run into any weather-related woes.

June is also the time we run our trip, and while you can organise your own one, we know how to give you the complete adventure holiday experience.

We’ve been doing this trip for a while now, so we’ve become experts (if I do say so myself) at providing you with the most value for money. Our experienced guides are also on hand to keep you safe during those daring activities, a luxury you perhaps wouldn’t be afforded if you arranged your own adventure holiday.

What about an adventure holiday in Spain on a budget?

As much as you may want to experience the thrills Costa Blanca has to offer, cost is no doubt a factor you’re thinking about.

To do your Spanish adventure on a budget, there are two options. The first is to go out of season but as we’ve already established, you may not get the full experience you’re after.

The other option is to plan your trip in advance and pay in monthly instalments, while travelling as part of a cost-effective small group. This will give you by far the most bang for your buck.

Sounds good?

These are just some of the many benefits of travelling with TBLC. By booking a year and a half in advance, you can get down to monthly payments of just £37. And by the time your trip rolls around, it’s all already paid for.

From just £650, you can have a truly unforgettable adventure, staying in a private villa with a small group of like-minded travellers.

Most of your meals are taken care of (you’ll also have the chance to explore Spain’s food scene for yourself), as is transport between destinations. All you need to do is book your flight and the rest is taken care of!

So, don’t let life pass you by. Find out everything you need to know about our Spanish Adventure trip here and satisfy your thrill-seeking desires.

If you don’t book it now… Will you ever?
